Offer depending on availability. The self catering gîtes are situated next to the château in the former 'chai à barriques', where the wine used to age in oak casks. The rooms are completely renovated and redecorated to welcome you with all the modern comfort. Of course the traditional qualities of the building have been respected. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and there is no Internet connection available for guests.
The restaurant where you will enjoy your meal included in this package is at about a 10 minutes drive from Chateau Coulon Laurensac. We suggest you bring or hire a car as taxi's sometimes are hard to get and can be rather expensive.

If you are staying in the region we can be your guide for day trips as well.
Getting in to the most interesting wine chateaux where you will be received in a friendly way is not always easy. Finding them in the French countryside is sometimes a challenge. And then there is the language. The French are notorious for their unwillingness to speak anything other than French. Our tours always have an English speaking guide.
Driving after a few wine tasting's and lunch is not recommended. In the Bordeaux wine growing region the police, for obvious reasons, is strict on the combination of alcohol and driving. Police controls are frequent. That is why you will appreciate that all our trips and tours are chauffeur driven.
