The bed and breakfast rooms are situated next to the château in the former 'chai à barriques', where the wine used to age in oak casks. The rooms are completely renovated and redecorated this spring to welcome you with all the modern comfort. Of course the traditional qualities of the building have been respected such as the beautiful exposed beams and exposed stone walls.
Château Coulon Laurensac is not a hotel and therefore does not offer hotel service like room service, 24/7 reception etc. (There is no air conditioning in our rooms). What you can expect is a warm welcome, kind hospitality and a personal touch.
A gourmet breakfast is served every morning in the enchanting garden room of the château.
Suite Pomerol (80 m2, 860 square feet)
The suite Pomerol with its beautiful exposed beams and exposed stone walls is a contemporary furnished spacious suite on the ground and first floors.
On the ground floor you will find the living room with its impressive original fireplace. The living room is furnished with two sofas and is equipped with a TV with DVD player and a telephone. You can borrow as many of our DVD's as you like.
On the first floor you will find a large double bedroom with a double bed (Box-spring: 1.60x2.00 m). A baby cot can be placed in this bedroom on demand.
On the same floor you will find a deluxe bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, a double washbasin and WC.
There is even another comfortable twin bedded room.
Pomerol overlooks the park with the château and has its own terrace with garden furniture and is equipped with heating.
Pomerol is less suitable for children under the age of five years old. The room is non-smoking and sorry, no pets allowed.

Swimming pool
A large (6*12m) swimming pool with two roman steps, stunningly set at the south side of the château, offers refreshing moments on sunny summer days. For the safety of children on the site, the pool area is fenced and gated and equipped with an alarm system, in accordance with the French government regulations.
